비트코인과 암호화폐에 정통한 CFO 신규채용 공고 낸 타임지

According to Cointelegraph on the 22nd, World magazine Time magazine revealed that it is seeking a CFO who is knowledgeable in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

“The media industry is undergoing rapid evolution” is the reason for this recruitment.

The new recruitment announcement from Time magazine suggests that a 98-year-old traditional publisher is looking for a chief financial officer who has knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency.

According to the job description on LinkedIn, it can be seen that Time magazine is looking for a chief financial officer who has more than 7 years of executive leadership experience and is “savvy to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency”. The position belongs to the Time Magazine corporate office in New York City.

This announcement shows that the media industry is undergoing rapid evolution. Time magazine is looking for a chief financial officer who can lead the transformation.

The chief financial officer’s responsibilities include investigating economic trends and complying with domestic and international financial requirements. If accepted, it is reported that he will replace Christopher Gaydos, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), who has been with the magazine since 2018.

Time Magazine is not alone using the popularity of cryptocurrency to attract new talent from outside.

Amsterdam-based education technology company Growth Tribe (GT) has posted a job posting for digital designers and user interface instructors, and has listed NFT on the Rarible marketplace. Applicants can still bid for the token, but applications can only be accepted through the company’s website.

David Anus, GT’s chief strategy officer, said, “Although the idea of’collecting’ employment advertisements with NFTs makes no sense at this point, it makes full sense to try to attract the attention of digital talent.”

Magazines are also in the mood for more recent adoption of blockchain.

Time magazine announced on the 22nd (local time) that it will auction three pieces of NFT digital artwork inspired by some of its most iconic covers. DW Fine, the creative director of Time magazine and the designer of one of the covers, described NFT as a “crazy” and “perfect” world.
